What does it cover?
Fabric, Leather and Vinyl Furniture:
- Stains caused by any food or beverage normally consumed by humans
- Stains caused by human or pet bodily fluids
- Stains caused by grass grease, ballpoint pen ink iodine, nail polish, cosmetics, lipstick, crayon, and shoe polish
- Rips, cuts, punctures or burns from a specific incident
- Breakage of frames, springs, and sleeper will be covered if they were originally covered by a manufacturer’s warranty and such warranty has expired
Wood and Hard Surface Furniture:
- Stains caused by any food or beverage normally consumed by humans
- Breakage of wood or other hard surface from a specific incident
- Gouge, heat mark or liquid ring from a specific incident
- Breakage of glass or mirror components, any chip of glass or mirrors and loss of silvering on mirrors (with the exception of crowned or curved glass)
- Checking, cracking, bubbling, or peeling of finish from a specific incident
- Stains from nail polish.
Policy Limit
Coverage is limited to invoices up to $20,000.
Years of Coverage
Five years.
Claim Reporting Time
Report all warranty claims to Guardian within 30 days of the occurrence.

Fully Supported Warranty Programs
Guardian Protection Products has partnered with CNA Insurance, a world leader in underwritten programs to ensure that every warranty sold will be fully insured and Guardian will be compliant in all states and protected against insolvency. Once the warranty registration is complete, the warranty will be valid by Guardian and CNA, making the transaction secure and backed for the term of the warranty.

Accidental Stains caused by grass, grease, ballpoint pen ink, nail polish, cosmetics, lipstick, crayon, and shoe polish. Accidental rips, cuts, punctures or burns from a single relatable occurrence.
Wood/Hard Surface Specifics
Accidental stains caused by any food or beverage normally consumed by humans; mold and mildew stains caused by food or beverage spills; Breakage of wood frame or structure or other hard surface from single incident; gouge, heat mark or liquid ring from single incident; accidental breakage of glass or mirror components (with the exception of crowned or curved glass). Checking, cracking, bubbling, or peeling of finish from a single incident. Any chip of glass or mirrors and loss of silvering on mirrors (with the exception of crowned or curved glass).
Exclusions
- Guardian protection plans are exclusively for residentially-used furniture within the U.S
- Guardian protection plans do not cover lighting, bedding, mattresses, bathroom furniture, fireplaces, pet beds, outdoor rugs, home decor, and accessories.
- Customer is responsible to cover shipping costs for any replacement items Guardian may provide.
